The Easy Traveller stroller system is MacLarens competition to the all too common Snap-N-Go. Categorized as a Car Seat Carrier it accommodates most major infant car seats and addition to your stroller arsenal. With its compact fold and quick setup, youll find the Easy Traveller ideal for all your infant travel needs. Note: Infant car seat not included!
Pros:
- Light compact.
- Easy to fold and unfold
- Huge Basket
- Comfortable to push around / easy to maneuver
Cons:
- Could look a little better (other brands in my opinion look better)
- Cup holder is too small to really hold anything
What makes the Easy Traveller unique, you may ask? Well first off, its a Maclaren, so you are insured compact umbrella-style folding (5 Second Fold system) at a feather light weight of only 11lbs, yet strong enough to support 55lbs!
Youll also appreciate the ample storage space in the Easy Travellers oversized shopping basket and will find that it easily accommodates purses, diaper bag, coats, baby blanket and items youve picked up while shopping. A simple strapping system will have your car seat secured very quickly. This system is similar to ones found on other car seat carriers. Added features included are the comfortable foam insulated handles, cup holder and lockable wheels.
When in position, the car seat will be facing towards the parent, providing clear view of your child at all times. Expect to pay a little more ($30 on average) over comparable models by Graco and Baby Trends Snap-N-Go, but well worth it for the Maclaren reputation. If you are looking for light weight and very compact car seat carrier, you cant go wrong with the Maclaren Easy Traveller stroller system.

Q: Maclaren Techno or Chicco Cortina stroller?
Hi everyone,
I am due this July and am looking for a stroller that will basically last through the time my baby is a toddler (about 4 yrs old). Ive basically narrowed it down to the Maclaren Techno XT or XLR or the Chicco Cortina, and am wondering which one is better. I know the Maclaren is more expensive, and doesnt include the car seat (that you can get with the Chicco travel system), but from my research I also see the Chicco is a lot bulkier than the Maclaren. I am cost conscious but at the same time I dont mind spending a little extra if this would mean I can stick to one stroller for the entire time we would need one I figure that the cost would eventually be the same, since with other strollers I will probably have to end up buying another one at some point. (FYI, Im also looking for a convertible carseat that will last from newborn and eventually turn into a booster seat. I know Im probably asking for everything in one, but I figured Ill try my luck and see if I can find anything!)
P.S. This is my first, which is probably why Im so determined the find what I am looking for!!
A: I prefer a lightweight stroller for everyday use, so I vote for Maclaren Techno.
I saw at Amazon.com it gets many great review from satisfied parents.
