A: This is a great question and the only result I can think of is to invent some type of handle extension. My husband is almost 6 feet and Im only 53 so he has to hunch over when pushing the stroller. The big jogging stroller by InStep has an umbrella and is taller for him but that might not be good for everyday. I have a double Combi which seems to be higher than my Graco stroller. Personally, I love MacLaren and did not like the Chico strollers I tried in the store, which felt comparatively flimsy. However, as I have twins and, therefore, a double stroller, my experience with specific makes and models may not be relevant for you. That said, I did find that the test drive was indispensable I immediately saw which strollers were easy for me to fold, lift, etc. AND I also immediately saw which were best for my children (some they looked comfortable in, others they clearly hated from the moment their butts hit the seat!)
In general, while MacLaren strollers are often on the more expensive side of things they are really great strollers, and even my double (Twin Techno) folds up quickly, easily, and compactly, and holds up very well. I had been planning on getting single umbrella strollers at one point and, after reading lots of reviews, was going to get theMacLaren Triumph, for what its worth.
